To all candidates, the judging for Design-A-Bag Competition is finished and the winners of each group and each category have already been informed. If your design got selected, you would receive the email about the Design-A-Bag competition awards 2012. Besides, the final result will not be announced until 28 March 2012 during the awards presentation in Fashion Access (28 - 30 March 2012).

NEWS - 16 Janurary 2012 | Extension of submission deadline for 2012 Design-A-Bag Competition
Happy New Year ! I wish you a wonderful creative year 2012 !
I am happy to announce that to help some of you finish your designs on-time we have decided to give you an extra month before the submission deadline. This means that the final submission date for the 2012 Design-a-Bag competition is now the 10th of February 2012.
It's really exciting to know that I will soon be discovering your designs for our 3 New Super Fashion Categories - Urban Super Fashion, Nigh Life Super Fashion and Weekend Super Fashion. It will also be my pleasure meeting the winners of our 2012 Design-a-Bag competition in Hong Kong during our Fashion Access (28 - 30 March 2012) !

NEWS - 7 June 2011 | Marie Cabirou's current experience in Milan
Marie Cabirou, our 2011 overall winner of the Design-a-bag competition with her fabulous Gorgon Medusa clutch bag has just started her 4 week's training program at the ARS SUTORIA school in Milan offered by our sponsor the ARS ARPEL GROUP. During these 4 intense weeks, she will have the wonderful opportunity to be taught the Ars Sutoria's renowned technical methodology about leather goods pattern drafting, theories on different constructions used in production as well as all about the different leathers used for classical & casual sport bags, trendy models and small leather goods.
We are sure that Marie will fully appreciate this very enriching opportunity which will boost her creative and technical capacities to push further her future bag designs !

NEWS - 1 April 2011 | CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WINNERS!
The Design-A-Bag Competition 2011 Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 31 March 2011 at the fashion finished product trade fair, Fashion Access, in Hong Kong.
A total of 6 category winners, coming from around the world, were invited to attend the Awards Presentation. Besides the opportunity to network with other fashion professionals at a leading fashion trade fair in Asia, the 2011 winners received a cash prize as well as sponsored prizes from Amethyst Handbag Library, ARS ARPEL and Peclers Paris.
Submissions came from over 20 countries and regions, including China, Colombia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, The Slovak Republic, UAE, UK, USA.
