Dr. Luis A. Zugno
Management Board Member, Leather Naturally

Career experience over 45 years in the Leather industry. Has education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and PhD in Leather Technology by the University of Cincinnati. Was lecturer in Leather Schools in Brazil.

Held positions of Technical Director on the following tanneries: Prime Tanning Rochester USA, Changshu Maydiang Leather, China and Pfister and Vogel, Milwaukee, USA.

Has made extensive work around the world: making leather, providing technical support for tanners, problem solving, providing training courses, and presenting research. Participated in many leather conventions and seminars since 1983 and have visited most of the important global leather research centers.

Currently is the IULTCS Secretary and Past-President and member of the Management Board at Leather Naturally. Works at Buckman in Memphis, TN, USA on Global Innovation for Leather.

Both French & English, Jayne Estève-Curé multidisciplinary education in Art, Clothing Technology (ESIV) and Fashion Management (IFM) led her to research, consulting, operational responsibilities and training. She is a true expert in Parisian and international fashion in both its’ strategic and operational aspects. She founded Jayne Fashion Agency, offering cross-disciplinary and synergistic services combining training, events and consulting. Her customers include Galeries Lafayette, Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, Petit Bateau, Printemps, Esprit, Gap, San Marina, Cosmoparis, Carol, Etam Group, Li & Fung, IKTIB, I.M.A, Shanghaï Lingerie, China Leather Brand Conference.

She now teaches Marketing and Merchandising at Design Development Courses and is a Member of the Arsutoria Trend Research Team.

Mountain Yam is the Overall Winner of DAB 2008. He is now the CEO of 112 mountainyam.

Designer Mountain Yam’s personal design mission is to remind people that the world is big, vibrant and full of inspiration. Yam graduated with a master’s degree in fashion design from the Institute of Textiles and Clothing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and received certificates from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design in New York.

Natalie Spelge
Fashion Promoter, Edizioni AF

Natalie Spelge, Fashion Promoter of Edizioni AF has more than 15 years in the fashion business with a focus in the leather accessories sector specifically in bags.

Spelge has a deep knowledge in the leather accessories market and has been involved in DAB as a judge since the first edition.

Nell Kim
Accessories Designer, Kate Spade

Nell Kim is an accessories designer based in New York City. Since 2019, Nell has been working as a designer at Kate Spade New York. Previously she worked at Michael Kors, where she designed many commercially successful handbags and small leather goods. In 2018 and 2019, Nell was a judge at a design contest for emerging designers that was held by Abury, a sustainable fashion brand based in Berlin.

Nell holds a BFA in Accessories Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Olivier Védrine
Architect-Designer & Production Designer, OO Agency Paris

Olivier Védrine started his career in Japan in 1990 where he organised his first personal exhibition at the Galerie Idée in Tokyo. Since the ’90s he was remarked because of his work with the French company Dacryl on chromatic transparencies, particularly using acrylic crystal in furniture and objects. For the last 10 years he has lectured at the Royal College of Art in London, Reims Fine Arts School in France (ESAD-Higher School of Art and Design), the private Camondo higher education school of decorative arts in Paris and at ESAM- Higher School of Modern Arts in Paris. In 2001 he joined Olivier Guillemin to create the [o,o] Design Agency.
