The winner of Design-A-Bag Competition 2024 is Ivan Cedric Fabia, the Philippines (ROOTED)!
Congratulations to Ivan! Notably, Ivan had previously participated in DAB 2023 and won the Online Facebook Favourite Design Award. Despite any setbacks or feelings of defeat, Ivan embraced the challenge once again this year. With his incredible innovation and originality, Ivan designed a remarkable bag called “Rooted,” which beautifully embodies the theme of genderless.
Ivan’s dedication and perseverance are truly inspiring as he emerged as this year’s well-deserved overall winner of the Design-a-Bag Competition 2024.
Apart from that, we congratulate our 2 other finalists that made it through the finals, which are Regita Lepla, Estonia (Crooked) and Florence Chow, Hong Kong (Nova-Rover).
This year’s DAB final judging ceremony was successfully taken place at APLF 2024 in Hong Kong on 19 March 2024. Thank you for everyone’s kind participation and warm support, we look forward to seeing you all soon!
What is Design-A-Bag Competition?
Design-A-Bag (DAB) Online Competition is the only bag designing event of its kind for designers and design students all over the world.
The competition is part of an initiative by Fashion Access and APLF. The annual event brings together a global design community to the Fashion Access trade fair. Designers can showcase their creations to the world and exchange design concepts among talents from various cultures and backgrounds.
